Efforts will be made to set recruitment
advertiser ad boxes within current day's news material, when possible. Vacancy
details are refreshed each week by copying & pasting the new details
onto the vacancies pages from customers' web sites, replacing
the old ones, as per example previously sent. To assist good
service, advertisers are encouraged to notify changes by e-mail, although
this may not be necessary. Where necessary, advertisers
must provide the search / location criteria for Logistics News to
identify the relevant current job listings. Short notice changes,
rather than the weekly change, attract a minimum charge of £15, depending
on number and type of alterations.
Should advertisers change the I.T. of their
site, making the copy and paste method impossible, by, for instance, adopting
the use of 'Flash', Logistics News cannot be held responsible for
difficulties arising but will attempt to manoeuvre around consequent
problems. All images and content provided will be
arranged to minimise the download times of pages within the constraint of
mutually agreed standards of presentation. Within the method
used, all I.T. has to be compatible with the effective operation of
Microsoft Front Page 2000. The Logistics News is constrained within the quality
limitations of our chosen method of working but will attempt to provide a
consistent quality of service, if advertisers web sites are unsuited to
this method, other terms may apply.
Once featured on the site, the advertiser has
a three working days to establish any major changes required,
otherwise acceptance with the basic implementation the general conduct of
the contract in terms of layout, method reasonably expected to that point
will be assumed. (The site package offered should be taken as
similar to that currently enjoyed by RPC).
Package price is £**pcm. Payment
is within four working weeks of receipt of invoice.
Additional vacancies above 30 (for example) would be charged pro rata.
Eg. A total of 40 would attract an additional one third charge
50, two thirds; 60, double, and so on.
Simple box changes can be altered for c£20
text or link changes during the term of any agreement. Other
box design changes would depend on requirements. To ensure
exact specification to requirements, submission of prepared gifs or j
pegs is encouraged; although Logistics News can construct ad boxes for
clients, this is only done on a gratis basis. Whenever possible, the
ranking of advertising boxes on the News Page will be maintained, but a
permanent order cannot be guaranteed. All contracts
and renewals must allow for at least ten working days before going live on
the Logistics News web site, although a shorter period is often possible.
Logistics News will make every effort to
update the site and maintain its quality and accessibility, but cannot be
held responsible for outages caused by affairs beyond our control or
unavoidable, having taken reasonable precautions. Logistics
News will not be responsible for any outage caused by malicious
attack. Logistics News is not responsible for the content of
advertisers' material, or any consequences arising, and retains the
right to alter the layout, design and the editorial content of the site at
its sole digression. Logistics News undertakes to take every
reasonable step to secure the accessibility of advertisers details and
deep links to those using the Logistics News web site. The terms of
business may change within the constraint of proper contractual conduct,
and are subject to any legislation, as and when it applies.
These terms are subject to change from time to time and advertisers are
recommended to request information on each renewal.
